## Start Before You're Ready
The alarm rings and most of us reach for our phones. But the first 60 minutes after waking are arguably the most powerful window you have for setting the tone of your entire day.
### 1. Hydrate Before Caffeine
After 7–8 hours without fluids, your body wakes up mildly dehydrated. Drinking 500 ml of water before your morning coffee jumpstarts metabolism, clears mental fog, and reduces cortisol spikes.
### 2. Five Minutes of Sunlight
Natural light exposure within the first 30 minutes of waking anchors your circadian rhythm, suppresses residual melatonin, and can improve mood and alertness throughout the day.
