Four days on Mallorca using Palma as a base. A serious Tramuntana hike, a coastal cycle, one long market lunch, and quiet water on the last morning.
Day 1 — Arrive and swim
Afternoon
Check in to Palma, walk the cathedral
CultureLa Seu's gothic weight is worth 20 minutes. Circle back past the old Jewish Quarter.
Evening
Sunset swim at Cala Major
RestA 15-minute taxi from the old town. Floating in the Med at dusk resets any flight fatigue.
Day 2 — Tramuntana
Morning
Drive to Deià, hike to Sóller
MovementThe 10 km coastal path takes 3–4 hours. Mostly shaded, olive groves and sea views. Bring water.
Afternoon
Lunch at a Sóller finca
FoodCa'n Boqueta or similar for long tables, local wine, and pa amb oli.
Evening
Early night in Palma
RestSkip the rooftop bars. Your legs earned sleep.
Day 3 — Coast and market
Morning
Cycle the Cap de Formentor road
Movement40 km return with switchbacks and lighthouse views. Rent road bikes in Port de Pollença.
Afternoon
Sineu market and a late lunch
FoodWednesday mornings only; if that's not your day, try the Inca market on Thursday. Sobrassada, local oranges, hard cheeses.
Evening
Tapas at Fonda Llabres
FoodA Palma institution. Go late (21:30), order the squid.
Day 4 — Water and depart
Morning
SUP at Portals Vells
MovementAn hour on the board in quiet coves. Rental shops at the marina.
Afternoon
Light lunch and the airport
FoodGrilled fish at a port-side taverna, then PMI.
