Three days in the Cotswolds using Moreton-in-Marsh as a base. One proper hike between villages, a farmers' market, and a spa afternoon on the way home.
Day 1 — Arrive and settle

Train to Moreton-in-Marsh, pub lunch

Evening
Village walk at dusk
RestAn hour through golden-stone lanes before dinner. Grab a pint by the fire after.
Day 2 — Snowshill to Stanton

Walk Snowshill to Stanton
MovementA 10 km loop through sheep pasture and beech woods. 3 hours, moderate, one good hill.
Afternoon
Lunch at The Mount Inn, Stanton
FoodHearty plates, local ales, a beer garden with views.
Evening
Fire and a bath
RestBack at the inn by 18:00. Long soak, early dinner, novel.
Day 3 — Market and depart

Stow-on-the-Wold farmers' market
CultureSecond Thursdays; otherwise the antique shops around the square are open any day.
Afternoon
Spa afternoon and the train home
RestWhatley Manor or Dormy House for a 90-minute treatment before the train back to London.
