Journaling
Weekly Review Template
Structured end-of-week reflection and planning framework.
The weekly review is where strategy meets reflection. This 30-minute framework helps you close out the week with clarity and set up the next one with intention. The review has three phases. Phase 1 — Reflect (10 minutes): What were the highlights? What challenged you? What did you learn? What would you do differently? Phase 2 — Review (10 minutes): Check your goals and projects. What progressed? What stalled? What needs to be dropped or delegated? Phase 3 — Plan (10 minutes): Set your top 3 priorities for next week. Block time for deep work. Identify potential obstacles and pre-plan your response. Do this review at the same time each week — Friday afternoon or Sunday evening work well. The consistency creates a rhythm that makes planning automatic rather than effortful.
